Guide Horse - I have found that in the UK instead of using guide 'Dogs' there using guide horses! 

They aren't just doing it for fun, there doing it because the man who is 23 years old is terrified of dogs.

Katy Smith who gave her 8 month old miniature horse says, "This is a better opinion for some people."

I think this is great news, people all over the world could start using this Idea. 

My only thing is, are the horses going be aloud in your house and are the aloud to work on the path?

What will be the solution?

Weekly Reflection

This Week.....

I got inspired by Hanne who is great at swimming breaststroke, she taught me to glide instead of going up and down really fast.

This week we did a workshop day to do with are learning strengths, I went to a gardening workshop that Elisabeth run. I did something funny by   eating almost every tomato I saw! They were really good!!!😜

I used Creativity by running a dance workshop with Storm, and we had to come up with some really cool dance routines. It went really well!

I am really looking forward to swimming sports because now I know how to do better breaststroke, this is true because I also beat my time for breaststroke at swim club.

I was kind this week by letting Hanne use my colouring pencils while we did Chapter Chat.

Attitude

Today on the 19th we had a guy called Lex from Attitude come in and talk to us about who we are, we did lots of fun activities. 

I learned.....

Lex gave us a book witch showed us what kind of animal we were - Otter, funny and is usually the one can't keep quite! Golden Retriever - Kind, Gental, caring, Can't say no! Lion - Leader the Boss! Beaver - Getting things done on time, Being organised! I learned that I was a Beaver and Golden Retriever. This was also my favourite activity.

 

My favourite story Lex told was how his friend who was an Otter, long story short he jumped on pencil and stabbed his foot! He was being silly while the teacher was gone.

My Pit was that on Monday night

we turned up at athletics and no one was there

so we went home, on the bright side we got to watch TV. There was no minus in my week at school apart from, later on in the term were going to get are immunisation shots.

My peek was that I got to complete all 21 blog challenges! I also loved the Marama tweet time.

I had a lovely week, full stop.

My Interesting/new for this week was that I learned what twitter was, and a bonus was that we got to tweet something too. I am also looking forward to singing in front of the whole school with a small group.

Grown Ups VS Children

5 things that Grown ups have an advantage for.....

1. Grown ups get to stay up for as long as they want,
2. Grown ups are in charge - They make the rules,
3. Grown ups get to do what they want to a limit,
4. Grown ups can drive and go to places kids can't,
5. Grown ups can make decisions and decide consequences,

1. Children don't have to pay the bills,
2. Children cost less and adults cost more and there the ones who have to pay,
3. Children can play and they don't have to go to work,
4. Children get to learn and have fun at school where adults have to work,

If I was a car I would be a Honda Stream, this is because me and my family have had a Red Honda as long as I can remember. 

Are Red Honda has sunscreen hand prints all over it, It makes funny noises and soon we will have to get a new car.

The sunscreen marks create memories, the funny noises help me sleep and I don't want to get a new car.

I love are Red Honda it will always be my favourite car, so if I was to be a car I would be my Red Honda!  

I would drive my passengers anywhere they want. If I was the car I would go for a special super secret drive every night!

First week of school

First Week Of School

I found the first week of school awesome in my new class with my 3 new lovely teachers Miss Darrah, Miss Coles and Miss Williams.

The first day was scary I must admit, in the morning I was worried that I'd have a bad day but when I got to school I had a blast! 

I felt so much older and more mature when school started, when I saw my old teachers I felt really weird. When It got more into the week it started to get better and better, It was so much fun hanging  out with kids that used to be in my class.

I feel really welcome in Marama, like I'm part of the team, I'm gonna have a great year!

If I was in a bit of a pickle with doing my homework, and I was in a fixed mindset I would say... 'This work is to hard I quit!'

    If I was in a Growth mindset with this I would say... 'I can't do this yet, but I'll keep trying.

Holiday!

             Holiday!

I had a great holiday but if I had to choose one part I would choose.....

Christmas! Of course, Christmas was the whole point we went on holiday for. I loved Christmas because I got to spend time with my family and yes we got presents!

I love Christmas, especially putting up the tree. We always listen to this WOW CD that has silly Christmas songs and videos on it, so I enjoyed that because it's like a tradition.

I also had so much fun camping with my mum with her new pop top caravan that we called Olive (Long story short.)

We've gone on three adventures with Olive and so far it's always rained!☹But it's always fun! We were in the big storm!

I also went camping with my dad in Raglan, up in the mountain where we had and ocean view. 

We stayed in a friends caravan that they weren't using at the time. 

Those were good times!😀   

 

Beach Ed

BEACH ED!

I had a cool time at Waihi beach on Wednesday the 7th, I enjoyed looking at the beach view in the lifeguard tower where you could see 5 KM out the Ocean with binoculars. 

 I loved the car ride there and back because we got to listen to music and sing along, I went in a car with Storm and her mum with Dana.

We learnt lots about rips and how to stop them, we had 4 really nice lifeguard teachers that were running the beach ed day. I was ready in the morning for a sunny day but you can't control the weather! 

My favourite part was free time in the Ocean, I thought this because it was quite rough and the waves were big! 

I had a cool day!
