What is the life cycle of a Caterpillar?

The caterpillar starts of as an egg (A very, very, very small egg) like many other animals, than over time forms a Caterpillar. This  Caterpillar hardly stops eating leaves and greens as it needs to grow, next when the time is right they turn upside down in a J shape on something like a branch for about 10-14 days forming into a chrysalis also known as a pupa, it stays like this for as long as it takes - around about 4 weeks in the summertime when it's warmer. Than when it's ready it slowly emerges from the pupa flapping it's new wings butterfly wings slowly to dry them of, then takes off and mates with another butterfly, and lays up to 500 eggs at a time! Than the life cycle carries on and on.

Do Caterpillars and Butterflies have eyes?

They indeed have 6 pairs of eyes, they are small simple eyes that can barely see. They can only sense touch, smell, taste, light and sound. They can tell the difference between light and dark. However butterflies have average eye site although they see things differently to what we see, when butterflies search for food they see their surroundings in these colours - Red, Violet, Green and Blue.

Are Caterpillars herbivores or carnivores?

Caterpillars are herbivores, in a way they don't have a choice as they are usually born on either a plant or a tree. (Greenery) 

Do Caterpillars have ears?

Caterpillars do not have ears, and not all moths have ears either.

Flip and the Flop

My flip of the week was that I finished all my work for the week, I also loved doing art it was really fun and creative.

I don't really have a flop of the week except 

from having a bit of a rash on my face.

Week 9 - Would You Rather

Would you rather see a firework display or go to a concert?

I would rather go to a concert, I love music and concerts can blow your mind! Where as fireworks would last 10-20 minutes and than it would be over. I've been to two concerts so far ( PINK and LITTLE MIX) I loved them!

Would you rather meet your favorite celebrity or be in a movie?
I found this one hard to choose from but I think I'd rather meet PINK in a room with just her and my family, being famous isn't always easy + I would LOVE!!! To meet PINK.

Would you rather not be allowed to watch T.V. for a year or not be allowed to eat any
sweets for a year?
I would rather not be aloud any sweats for a year because I think that would be quite easy for me, as I'm not a big fan of lollies. 


Would you rather read minds or be invisible?
I would rather be invisible because reading minds could be quite disturbing, imagine if you thought you were best friends with a kid in your class, but really when you read their mind they were thinking that they hated you. How would that make you feel?

Would you rather be an art teacher or a physical education teacher?
I would rather be a art teacher because P.E Isn't always my favourite activity but I find art quite relaxing. 

Would you rather have a magic carpet that flies or your own personal robot?
I would rather have a magic carpet that flies because I am against robots, who wants a world full of robots? They could eventually destroy us.

Would you rather be able to fly or be invisible?
I found this very hard to decide from, but I would rather be able to fly because I've always wanted to know how it felt. You could also use flyte to escape certain things.

Would you rather have a pet panda bear or a pet zebra?
I would rather have a pet Panda because if I raised it when it was young up to when it was an adult, it would be trained not to eat me. It would also be really cute!

Would you rather speak every language or play every instrument?
I would rather speak every language so it would be fairly easy to communicate with people from other countries, It would also be fun to learn.

Would you rather shovel snow or rake leaves?
I would rather rake leaves because I think it would be a lot easier than shoveling snow.

KIDS ARE US

My business would be a place where kids get to come and stay like a babysitting place except it will be like a hotel for kids, all the parents would have to do is sign there children in and out. I believe this would be a fun experience for anyone around the world, it would give kids a chance to interact with others around the world.

I have chose this business because I love working with little kids, when I'm older I would love to be a Primary teacher. I want to help other people, so if I ran a 'babysitters club' business it will hopefully provide a place for parents to just drop off there kids so they can have a weekend in peace. Also my hotel will provide enough room for only 3-5 children per room! It would be a dream holiday for everyone.
