History of TV

TV

Who invented it?
John Logie Baird,

Philo Farnsworth,

Charles Francis Jenkins

Where was it invented/made?
25th March 1925 in London, Scottish inventor
John Logie Baird did the first public demonstration of
TV silhouette images in motion.

Why did it become a thing?
It became popular because it was a form of entertainment, communication,
News abtaits. It was the thing you couldn't keep your eyes off, it was new and getting improved.

How has it changed over time?
There is now many different types and sizes of TV's,
there are now remotes so you can be as lazy as like.
Many thing have changed, and are still changing.
Unlike in the past you weren't aloud to show lots of things that are the main programs now,
There are all colours on shows as the main colours were only
Black and White, you generally never see black and white programs anymore.
There are hundreds of different channels,
with many different providers such as Netflix-Sky-Digital TV.

What was it like when your parents were your age?
TV was black and white, there were very few
channels and all TV's turned off at midnight.
No TV remotes, you had to get up and turned it on and channels.
Full colour only became a thing TV in the 1970.

Learning Powers

  • My parents show Resilience while looking after us, they help us with whatever we need - They are always there for us when we need it, They show Creativity while helping us with projects, They provide the food that we eat everyday, They work to feed are family and take us on family trips and they always find ways to make us happy, Them just being there makes me happy. They show all the learning powers there are.

  • Teachers show Resilience while teaching a class, They show Creativity while helping us with something new, They show Curiosity while listening to what we have to say and show. They help with our learning.

  • Friends and Family show a lot of the learning powers by having fun with us, talking about everything, being there when we need it, standing up for us, bringing us back up when were feeling down, just being nice to us and caring for us.

Learning Spaces

Clubrooms:
Are for meeting with a teacher, Collaborating with others,
Workshops, Discussions and working on independent learning.

Corporate Box:
Meeting with a teacher, creative work
offline and Workshops with a teacher.

TMO:
Quite learning, Working on independent learning,
Reading a book and silent work.

Stadium:
Class meetings with a teacher, Collaborative work,
Independent work, Talking with a teacher and Workshops.

Infield:
Art, Collaborative learning,
Meeting with a teacher and Independent work.

It is important that we have different spaces for different type of learning so that if you need some quiet time you could go to the TMO, if you would like to do a peace of art with messy paint it is best to do it in the Infield. It is good that we have the opportunity to do many different learning skills, and it is great how we have different rooms that pretty much covers everyone's learning skills. It helps people with their learning, making sure they have a space that they can work in whenever.
