NZ Flag debate!

When I first saw the new flag I thought it represents NZ better, so I thought I'd go for the new flag although I did like both. I liked how the new flag has still got the silver fern on it. The new flag wasn't much different from our last flag, so there wasn't much point on voting. We should have changed the flag because it was to similar to some other flags. Around the world there are some flags that look like ours now so there is a good reason to change the flag. I felt happy and a little sad at the same time, when the old flag was picked, but in the end it was a good vote because how often do we vote for flags.
